Qualifications

• Experience with G-tube, tracheostomy, ventilation; willing to train.
• In-person BLS CPR certification required.

Responsibilities

• Provide physician-ordered treatments including nutrition via feeding tube.
• Perform tracheostomy care and suctioning.
• Monitor ventilation care and seizure assessment.

Responsibilities for Registered Nurses (RNs)

• Physician ordered treatments for:
  • Nutrition via a feeding tube
  • Tracheostomy care
  • Suctioningnasal, oral and/or endotracheal
  • Ventilation care
  • Seizure assessment and treatment

Requirements for Registered Nurses (RNs)

• Current, active Texas RN license
• Current BLS CPR card (obtained in-person, not online)
• G-tube, trach, vent experience, or willing to train
