BayCare Health System is seeking a Registered Nurse for the PACU at St. Joseph's Hospital in Tampa, FL. The role involves delivering direct patient care in the PACU, utilizing nursing processes, and collaborating with the healthcare team.

Qualifications include an active RN license, BLS, ACLS, and 2 years of RN experience with 1 year in PACU/CCU/ER preferred. This is a part-time, exempt position with benefits and opportunities for professional growth.

Position Description: RN - PACU

The RN responsibilities include:

• Independently caring for a group of patients consistently using the nursing process and clinical standards.
• Delegating appropriate patient care activities to other members of the health care team.
• Professional accountability and development.
• Direct contact with the child and has primary responsibility for providing personal care assistance and supervision to a child.
• Performing the role of preceptor and charge nurse when assigned.

Qualifications:

Certifications and Licensures:

• BLS (Basic Life Support) Certification is required
• RN (Registered Nurse) license is required
• ACLS Certification is required
• Nurse Specialty certification is preferred

Education:

• Associates degree in Nursing or Nursing Diploma is required
• Bachelors degree in Nursing is preferred

Experience:

• 2 years of RN experience is required.
• 1 year of RN experience in PACU, critical care and/or emergency is preferred
