Job summary

Northview Health and Living is seeking a dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Registered Nurse (RN) to join our long-term care team. You will provide direct nursing care, manage medication administration, and support residents’ health and comfort.

Qualifications

• Perform wound, catheter, ostomy care and other treatments.
• Document vitals, weights, intake/output in EHR.
• Follow care plans and infection control standards.

What You'll Do

• Administer oral, topical, and injectable medications per physician orders
• Monitor residents for changes in condition and report to the supervising RN
• Perform wound care, catheter care, ostomy care, and treatments
• Obtain and document vital signs, weights, and intake and output
• Implement care plans as directed by the RN and care team
• Supervise and delegate tasks to CNAs on your shift
• Communicate with residents, families, and the nursing team
• Document care accurately and timely in the electronic health record
• Follow infection control, safety, and facility compliance standards

Requirements

• Current, unrestricted LPN/RN license in the state of Indiana
• Graduate of an accredited practical nursing program
• Current BLS/CPR certification
• Long-term care or geriatric nursing experience preferred
• Strong medication administration and observation skills
• Ability to work rotating shifts, weekends, and holidays
