Sunrise Manor & Convalescent Center in Clermont County, Ohio, is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for the night shift. The role involves providing safe, compassionate care from admission through discharge and working with an interdisciplinary team to implement care plans.

Responsibilities include medication administration, assessments, wound care, documentation, supervision of CNAs/STNAs, and monitoring residents for changes. Prior long-term care experience is preferred.

Formación

• Current, unencumbered Ohio RN license or multi-state license.
• Nursing degree from an accredited nursing program.
• Current CPR certification.
• Previous experience in long-term care or skilled nursing preferred.

About the RN Role

As an RN at Sunrise Manor, you will be responsible for providing safe, effective, and compassionate nursing care to our residents from admission through discharge. You will work collaboratively with the physician, family, and interdisciplinary care team to develop and implement individualized care plans.

Key Responsibilities

• Providing direct nursing care in accordance with the resident's plan of care, including medication administration, assessments, wound care, and accurate documentation
• Supervising day-to-day nursing activities performed by Nursing Assistants/STNAs
• Monitoring residents' conditions, promptly recognizing changes, and notifying the physician and appropriate team members
• Promoting a positive, respectful, and resident-focused environment

Qualifications

• Current, unencumbered Ohio RN (Registered Nurse) license or multi-state license
• Nursing degree from an accredited nursing program or college/university
• Current CPR certification
• Previous experience in long-term care, skilled nursing, or a similar setting preferred

Skills and Qualities

• Strong knowledge of nursing and medical practices, as well as state, federal, and regulatory requirements related to long-term care
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills and sound clinical judgment
• Ability to work collaboratively with an interdisciplinary team, residents, and families
• Strong organization, time-management, and prioritization skills
