The Registered Nurse assesses, plans, implements, and evaluates nursing care for a group of patients. This role involves leading nursing team members in patient care as directed by the attending physician and in collaboration with other healthcare providers, in line with ProMedica's philosophy and policies. The nurse actively fosters an environment that promotes satisfaction among patients, families, physicians, and staff, ensuring decisions are patient- and family-centered, evidence-based, and focused on safety, customer satisfaction, and quality outcomes.
The Registered Nurse provides specialized nursing care based on biological, physical, behavioral, social, spiritual/cultural, and nursing sciences. The nurse functions within the full scope of practice as defined by the Board of Nursing in their practicing state, complying with hospital accreditation standards.
