RN-Registered Nurse -Labor, Delivery, Recovery, Postpartum (LDRP)

Hospital: St. Vincent Anderson

Location: Anderson, IN

Details

• Department: Labor, Delivery, Recovery, Postpartum (LDRP)
• Schedule: Part Time Nights, 2 shifts per week, 7:00pm - 7:30am, Every 3rd weekend, holiday rotation

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care according to established policies, procedures, and protocols.
• Implement and monitor patient care plans, and communicate patient conditions effectively.
• Coordinate care among disciplines for well-organized patient care.
• Follow physician and nursing orders accurately.
• Assist in discharge planning in collaboration with the healthcare team.

Requirements

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

• BLS Provider certification obtained within 1 month of hire or transfer (American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted).
• Registered Nurse credential from the Indiana Board of Nursing prior to hire or transfer.

Education:

• Diploma from an accredited nursing school or required professional licensure at the time of hire.

Additional Preferences

• 2 years of experience preferred.
