Amedisys Home Health is seeking a Registered Nurse for PRN Weekend Days in Conway, South Carolina. You will coordinate and oversee patient home care, collaborate with care teams, and educate families about patient conditions and care plans.

Responsibilities include performing head-to-toe assessments, checking vital signs, administering medications, injections, IV therapies, and maintaining catheter care. Join a trusted nationwide home health leader offering flexible scheduling and strong support.

Formación

• One year of clinical RN experience.
• Current RN license in the assigned state.
• Minimum six months home health experience.
• Current CPR certification.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Responsabilidades

• Coordinates and oversees all aspects of patients' home care.
• Collaborates with patient care teams to develop and implement care plans.
• Educates families on patient condition, needs and care.
• Performs head to toe physical assessments.
• Checks vital signs and manages medications.
• Gives injections, IV therapy or tube feedings.
• Administers and maintains catheters.
• Completes documentation timely and accurately.
• Supervises LPNs and HHAs.
• Regularly communicates patient progress to the clinical manager, physician and care team.

Qualifications

• One year of clinical experience as a registered nurse (RN). If less than 1 year clinical experience as a RN, candidate must be approved by VP clinical.*
• Current RN license, specific to the state(s) you are assigned to work.
• Minimum six months home health experience.
• Current CPR certification.
• Valid 'driver's license, reliable transportation and liability insurance.
• Able to assess patient status and identify requirements relative to age specific needs.
• Must be familiar with general use and functions of the computer, such as, user names and password concepts; internet; e-mail; navigation of computer desktop, including starting programs, using files and windows, effectively use navigation buttons and tool bars; ability to self-manage online HR services and online training programs.
• Note - If less than 6 months clinical experience as a RN, candidate must participate in RN Intern program.
