BayCare Health System\u2019s Mease Countryside Hospital in Safety Harbor, FL is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to join the Hemodialysis team. This Full-Time position requires delivering high-quality, compassionate patient care in a fast-paced hospital setting, adhering to clinical standards and the nursing process.

Shift is 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM with every other weekend and on-call responsibilities; this role is in person.

Formación

• RN License required.
• Diploma/Associate/Bachelor’s degree in Nursing required.
• Preferred: Bachelor's in Nursing.
• 1 year RN experience in Hemodialysis or Acute Care setting preferred.
• BLS certification required; ACLS certification desirable.

Responsabilidades

• Cares for a group of Dialysis patients using the nursing process and clinical standards.
• Delegates appropriate patient care activities to other health care team members.
• Monitors and documents patient vitals and assessments; responds to medical emergencies.
• Coordinates discharge planning and referrals to ensure continuity of care after discharge.
• Maintains high emotional intelligence to provide a positive patient care experience and clear explanations to patients.

• Status: Full Time
• Shift: 7:00 AM - 5:30 PM
• Every other weekend requirement

Requirements

• RN (Registered Nurse) License
• Diploma, Associate’s, Bachelor's or Higher in Nursing
• Preferred Education: Bachelor's in Nursing
• 1-years' RN experience in the Hemodialysis in an Acute Care setting
• BLS certification with the American Red Cross or American Heart Association
• ACLS certification with the American Heart Association

The Registered Nurse – Hemodialysis Responsibilities And Skills

• Works in a hospital setting and independently cares for a group of Dialysis patients consistently using the nursing process and clinical standards
• Delegates appropriate patient care activities to other members of the health care team
• Care for patient needs throughout their recovery in critical care
• Monitor, record, and update care team on patient vitals and assessments.
• Identifying sudden or subtle changes in a patient’s medical condition
• Responding to medical emergencies for critical patients
• Coordinates and documents appropriate discharge planning and referrals to ensure continuity of care after discharge
• High emotional intelligence to create a positive patient care experience that includes simplifying medical terminology and concepts to the patient
• Professional accountability and development
