Job summary

BayCare is seeking an RN for Hemodialysis in Safety Harbor, FL. The role is full-time with day shifts and every other weekend commitment. The position emphasizes compassionate, expert care in a hospital Hemodialysis unit.

Requirements include an RN license and nursing degree with 1 year Hemodialysis in acute care, plus BLS and ACLS certifications. On-site role with opportunities for growth within BayCare’s network.

Qualifications

• RN license required.
• Diploma, Associate’s, Bachelor's or higher in Nursing required/equivalent.
• Preferred education: Bachelor’s in Nursing.
• 1 year RN experience in Hemodialysis in an Acute Care setting.
• BLS certification (American Red Cross or AHA).
• ACLS certification (American Heart Association).

Responsibilities

• Care for dialysis patients in hospital using nursing process and clinical standards.
• Delegate appropriate patient care activities to other health care team members.
• Monitor patient vitals and assessments and document changes.
• Respond to medical emergencies for critical patients.
• Coordinate discharge planning and referrals to ensure continuity of care.
• Maintain professional accountability and ongoing development.
