Cambridge Health Alliance (CHA) Everett Hospital is seeking a part-time Registered Nurse for Lewis 2 Nursing, a 16-bed inpatient psychiatric unit for geriatric patients. 24 hours per week, day and evening shifts (7am-3:30pm and 3pm-11:30pm) with E/O weekends and holidays as assigned.

New hires with 2+ years in the specialty may receive a $10k sign-on bonus (pro-rated for part-time). CHA emphasizes trauma-informed, patient- and family-centered care and a commitment to equity in care delivery.

Qualifications

• Current Massachusetts RN license required.
• American Heart Association BLS certification required.
• BSN or ASN degree required.

Lewis 2, located at Everett Hospital, is a 16 bed, secured, inpatient psychiatric nursing unit for geriatric patients. We care for our patients using a multi-disciplinary approach to provide patient and family centered care. A continued emphasis on restraint reduction is ongoing and treatment focus is on assessment, stabilization, and after care treatment planning. Our approach is trauma informed, evidence based, and centered on the patients and their families.

Qualifications and Experience:

• * Current Massachusetts RN license required
• * American Heart Association for Healthcare Providers BLS (Basic Life Support) certification is required
• * A minimum BSN or ASN degree required
• * 1-2 years acute inpatient psychiatric experience strongly preferred.
• * In addition, newly hired candidates are required to successfully complete a job specific physical test
