Job summary

Gundersen Health System in La Crosse, WI, is hiring an RN for the Electrophysiology Lab to join Emplify Health by Gundersen. This dedicated team focuses on EP studies, ablations, pacemaker and defibrillator insertions.

Schedule is 0.75 FTE with 60 hours every two weeks, 10-hour shifts 7:00am–5:00pm, and an orientation program. You'll collaborate with Cardiotesting, Pre Op, Exercise Physiology, and Cardiothoracic Surgery, with no overnight or weekend call and no holidays.

Qualifications

• Minimum of an Associate Degree in Nursing.
• RN licensure to practice in the state of Wisconsin upon hire.
• 2 years RN experience, experience caring for cardiac patients required.
• BLS for healthcare providers, ACLS certification required within 3 months of hire.
• Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) certification a plus.

Responsibilities

• Support EP lab: electrophysiology studies, radiofrequency ablations, pacemaker and defibrillator insertions.
• Collaborate with Cardiotesting, Pre Op, Exercise Physiology, and Cardiothoracic Surgery.
• Provide episodic acute care that has great impact on patients’ lives.
• Ensure safety, documentation and continuity of care during shifts.
• Participate in full-time orientation and ongoing professional development.

What you will do:
