Job summary

White Glove Placement is seeking an experienced Nurse Educator for a 13-week travel assignment in New York, supporting MedSurg and Telemetry teams. The shift runs 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM with guaranteed 38 hours per week, offering a weekday schedule and educator-focused duties.

The role requires an active NY RN license, MSN-Ed or higher in Nursing Education, and at least 5 years of hospital nursing experience, with strong clinical education skills.

Qualifications

• Active NY RN license is required.
• MSN-Ed or Master’s in Nursing Education or Education required.
• Minimum 5 years of nursing experience.
• Experience as a hospital Nurse Educator is required.
• MedSurg and Telemetry experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead nursing education and staff development for MedSurg and Telemetry.
• Educate and support nursing staff in a hospital setting.
• Deliver clinical education in a travel nurse educator role.
• Collaborate with unit leadership to optimize patient care outcomes.

Minimum Requirements

• Active NY RN License

• MedSurg and Telemetry experience strongly preferred

• Current BLS certification required

• Current ACLS certification required

• BLS/ACLS Instructor certification preferred

• Strong clinical education and staff development skills

• Ability to educate and support nursing staff in a hospital setting
