Job summary

White Glove Placement is seeking an experienced RN to join a Cardiac Catheterization and Electrophysiology team for a 13-week travel assignment in Illinois. You will provide specialized pre- and post-procedure care in a fast-paced cardiac environment with 3x12-hour day/night shifts and guaranteed 36 hours per week.

Requirements include active IL RN license, 1 year Med Surg telemetry experience, total joint replacement experience, and EPIC proficiency.

Qualifications

• Active IL RN license required.
• Minimum 1 year of recent surgical Med Surg experience.
• Total joint replacement experience required.
• EPIC experience required.
• BLS through AHA.
• NIHSS certification.
• Telemetry experience and ability to interpret cardiac rhythms.
• Experience with PCA pumps and reversal medications such as Narcan.
• Experience with TPN and lipids.
• Strong sepsis management skills.
• Comfortable caring for high-acuity, fast-paced patient assignments.
• Must be comfortable with a primary nursing care model.
• BSN not required.

Responsibilities

• Provide specialized pre-/post-procedure cardiac care in a fast-paced EP/Cath lab.
• Float to like units as needed and adapt to unit priorities.
• Utilize EPIC for accurate charting and timely documentation.

Join a dynamic Cardiac Catheterization and Electrophysiology team providing specialized pre-procedure, post-procedure, and Phase I/II recovery care. This is a high-priority travel opportunity for an experienced RN seeking a fast-paced cardiac environment.

Position Highlights

• Profession: RN
• Specialty: Med Surg/Telemetry
• Assignment Length: 13 weeks
• Schedule: 3x12-hour day/night shifts
• Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours/week
• Every other weekend required
• Holiday rotation required
• No call or standby requirement
• Float to like units only
• Charting System: EPIC
• Accepts local clinicians
• Trauma Level II, acute care setting
• Black scrubs
