  • Schedule:FT Nights; schedule open to discussion between 3/12s and 4/10s
  • Location:4220 Harding Road

Ideal candidate will have 5+ years inpatient experience. Night shift hospitalists physician support role, fully integrated into the hospitalists program. The nurse will field all of thecrosscover calls from nurses at night and work to triagesituations that don't need to be escalated to the MD.

Responsibilities

Coordinate nursing program activities and resources within clinical specialty or department.

  • Develop and oversee program, making recommendations and acting as a resource for all nursing staff related to patient care and clinical standards, policies and procedures. Develop and document care plans and therapy programs.
  • Oversee and ensure plan of care therapy program is implemented as indicated. Ensure necessary resources and/or equipment is obtained as ordered.
  • May supervise and direct nursing staff.
  • Coordinate, assemble, and maintain documentation as required.
Requirements

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

  • BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
  • One or more of the following required:
    • Registered Nurse credentialed from the Tennessee Board of Nursing OR current home state license for multi-state license recognition "Compact State" obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.

Education:

  • Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing OR Required professional licensure at time of
    hire.
