The RN Coordinator for the Cancer Center plays an expanded role in assessing patient needs, planning and providing nursing care, and coordinating follow-up care for patients receiving treatment in an outpatient Hematology/Oncology setting. The primary responsibility is care navigation throughout the continuum of care, including patient education, triage, and care coordination.
This is a full-time role, 40 hours weekly, with rotational start times between 7:00 a.m. and 8:30 a.m. Candidates must have at least two (2) years of RN work experience.
The role requires maintaining competency in Chemotherapy and Biotherapy administration, demonstrated by completing and maintaining The ONS Chemotherapy and Biotherapy Certification. Pursuing OCN certification after completing the required hours is encouraged to further demonstrate expertise in this specialized nursing field.
