UW Medical Center Northwest is seeking an experienced Labor and Delivery nurse to join the team for night shifts. The role focuses on assisting in labor and delivery, administering medications including epidurals, and supporting mother–baby bonding and early breastfeeding.

The position is regular, full-time on the Night Shift with a 3x12 schedule, offering a robust compensation package and relocation options. WA state licensure is required, with experience in a UW-affiliated hospital preferred.

Job Description

UW Medical Center – Northwest has an opportunity for an experienced Registered Nurse who is interested in working at our Childbirth Center. We have opportunity for an experienced nurse in Labor and Delivery.

POSITION HIGHLIGHTS

• The autonomy to practice to highest level of license.
• Assist in the labor and delivery process
• Administration of medication, including epidurals.
• Help mother and baby in baby’s first breastfeeding
• Assist in mother and baby couplet care.

SCHEDULE

• 90% Night shift (3X12hr/week)

REQUIREMENTS

• Two or more years as a Labor and Delivery Nurse.
• Have/Obtain a RN license to practice in Washington state or MSL.
• Graduated from an accredited school of nursing.
