BayCare Health Systems is currently seeking experienced Behavioral Health Registered Nurses to join our outstanding and compassionate float team.

Regional Float Pool Behavioral Health- Minimum commitment is 4 shifts per 6 weeks to include 2weekend shifts. Required to float to region of hospitals based on census needs.

Region 1 - Morton Plant Hospital - Clearwater, FL; St. Anthony's Hospital - St. Petersburg, FL; Mease Dunedin Hospital - Dunedin, FL

Region 2 - St. Joseph's Hospital - Tampa, FL; St. Joseph's Hospital North - Lutz, FL; North Bay Recovery Center - Lutz, FL

Position Summary:The Registered Nurse works in a hospital setting and independently cares for a group of patients consistently using the nursing process and clinical standards. Delegates appropriate patient care activities to other members of the health care team. The registered nurse collaborates and communicates with inter-disciplinary care providers in developing and assisting in plan of care. Organizes and prioritizes and updates plan of care in collaboration with patient, family, and significant others in the departments. Identifies patients at risk for injury regarding diagnosis, medication, procedure, age, etc., and prepares room environment. **Requirements:** · Registered Nurse license · BLS. · Associate degree in nursing (ASN)· 2 years current RN experience in an acute Behavioral Health setting · Prior experience with Cerner EMR strongly preferred.· Must have independent transportation for assignments/shifts.· Flexibility · Travel Nurse experience preferred.
