Job summary

Mercy is seeking a dedicated registered nurse for the Behavioral Health department at Mercy St. Louis Hospital.

This full-time night-shift position requires a licensed RN with BLS certification and a commitment to patient-centered care within Mercy Service Standards. Incentives include a sign-on bonus up to $10,000, base pay plus differentials, stay premium program after 2 years, annual merit increases, and day-one health, dental, vision, 401(k) matching, and education assistance.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• Must hold current RN license in hiring state or compact licensure.
• BLS certification through the American Heart Association or complete within 30 days of hire.

Qualifications

Education: Graduated from a school of nursing (Associate's Degree, Diploma, or BSN).
Licensure: Is personally responsible for obtaining, and maintaining, a current RN license within the hiring state and/or compact licensure in which nursing duties are performed and must meet all state board of nursing requirements.
Certifications:
Basic Life Support certification through the American Heart Association or successful completion of course within 30 days of hire

Physical Requirements

• Position requires the ability to push, pull, and/or lift 50 lbs on a regular basis.
• Position requires prolonged standing and walking during each shift.
• Position requires the ability to grip, reach, bend, kneel, twist, and squat to perform duties.
