Pivotal Health Care in Lenexa, KS seeks an RN to provide comprehensive nursing care for residents in the community. The role requires clear communication with the team, families, physicians, and allied health professionals to ensure high-quality care.

The RN will perform rounds, assess patients, follow infection-control policies, and coordinate with physicians. English proficiency and CPR certification are required, with options for full-time, part-time, and PRN shifts to cover 6:00 a.m.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program and licensed in the state of work with license in good standing.
• Preferred 1–2 years of long-term care or skilled nursing facility experience (not required).
• Must possess a current CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Provide quality nursing care according to Federal, State, and company policies based on resident acuity.
• Make daily rounds to assess resident condition and comfort.
• Follow safety policies to ensure resident safety during care.
• Adhere to infection control guidelines.
• Initiate procedures to protect residents from injury and infection.
• Assess and respond to changes in resident condition with appropriate interventions.
• Communicate with physicians as needed and maintain hand-off with the incoming shift.

Shifts: We offer 12‑hour shifts for our RN positions. Openings are available for full-time (30+ hours weekly), part-time (up to 29 hours weekly), and PRN (as needed) positions.

Days: 6:00 a.m. – 6:30 p.m.

Nights: 6:00 p.m. – 6:30 a.m.

Role

We are seeking a dedicated RN – Registered Nurse to join our team. The RN is responsible for the comprehensive nursing care of residents in the Community, and for effectively communicating with team members, families, physicians, and allied health professionals.

Responsibilities

• Ensure provision of quality nursing care in accordance with Federal, State, and company requirements based on resident acuity.
• Make daily rounds to each resident to assess condition and comfort.
• Follow safety policies when performing nursing care, ensuring resident safety.
• Adhere to infection control guidelines.
• Initiate procedures to protect residents from injury and infection.
• Assess and evaluate changes in resident condition, and implement appropriate interventions.
• Communicate with physicians as indicated by resident needs or status, and maintain hand‑off communications with the incoming shift.
• Oversee direct care staff, ensuring staff complete assigned tasks.
• Speak, read, and write in English in an understandable manner.
• Apply basic general math principles as required.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program and currently licensed in the state of work without encumbrance; responsible for maintaining licensure and continuing education requirements.
• Preferably 1–2 years of previous nursing experience in long‑term care and/or a skilled nursing facility (not required).
• Must possess a current CPR certification.
