Job summary

The Heights Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center in Ohio is seeking a compassionate Registered Nurse to join our skilled nursing team. This full-time role offers weekdays 7am-7pm with no weekends, a patient-centered environment, and competitive pay with shift differentials.

You will monitor residents, administer medications, collaborate with the care team, document per policy, and support unit operations under the Unit Manager.

Qualifications

• Current, active RN license in Ohio.
• Strong clinical judgment and critical thinking.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• Experience in long-term care preferred.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and assess residents to ensure high-quality care.
• Administer medications and treatments per physician orders.
• Collaborate with the care team to develop individualized plans.
• Document accurately and timely per facility policies.
• Support unit operations under the Unit Manager.
• Perform additional nursing duties as assigned.

  Responsibilities of an RN:

  • Monitor and assess residents to ensure their clinical needs are met with the highest quality of care

  • Administer medications and treatments in accordance with physician orders and established protocols

  • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team to develop and implement individualized care plans

  • Document accurately and timely in compliance with facility policies and regulatory standards

  • Support unit operations under the direction of the Unit Manager

  • Perform additional nursing duties as assigned to support resident care and facility goals

  Qualifications of an RN:

  • Current, active RN license in the state of Ohio (required)

  • Strong clinical judgment and critical thinking skills

  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities

  • Prior experience in long-term care or skilled nursing preferred, but not required
