PAM Health Specialty Hospital of Wilkes-Barre is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for a 13-week internal assignment in the local area. The role involves delivering, directing and supervising patient care on the nursing unit under nursing leadership, with emphasis on interdisciplinary planning and discharge planning.

ACLS is required from day 1 for certain roles and may be required after 90 days. One year inpatient medical-surgical experience is preferred but not required.

Qualifications

• RN License in the state you are applying
• Current BLS certification
• ACLS certification preferred initially and required after 90 days; ACLS day 1 for Charge Nurses, High Obs, ICU

Responsibilities

• Deliver, direct and supervise care using the nursing process
• Plan, coordinate and provide patient care including discharge planning
• Teach patients and families and access community resources
