Job summary

Cypress Village Retirement in Jacksonville, FL is hiring a Registered Nurse (RN) to oversee nursing care on a 12-hour shift at our skilled nursing center. You will supervise nursing staff, administer care, and ensure accurate documentation.

A Florida RN license and CPR are required, with at least 6 months in geriatric care. We offer full-time opportunities with shift differentials and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Active RN license in Florida.
• Minimum 6 months of geriatric nursing experience.
• Supervisory experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Supervise direct care of residents and nursing staff on shift.
• Administer direct care as needed and document accurately.
• Give and receive shift reports and round twice per shift.
• Keep physicians and families informed of changes in residents’ condition.
• Assist in developing comprehensive care plans.
• Maintain confidentiality and ensure safe, clean environment.
• Respond to emergency calls and coordinate with other disciplines.

About The Role

The Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for the overall nursing care/service and management of all personnel on his/her shift, including the accurate and timely administration of medications, treatments, documentation, and emergency calls, as indicated. Our RNs work 12-hour shifts caring for our residents at our skilled nursing center.
