Job summary

Flagler Health and Rehabilitation Center is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team. This role supports the Director of Nursing, supervising staff and overseeing daily nursing activities across shifts, ensuring compliance with standards and regulations.

Responsibilities include monitoring care delivery, conducting shift meetings, addressing care issues, and coordinating services for continuity of care. A BSN is preferred, with current RN licensure and CPR/BLS certification.

Qualifications

  • BSN preferred; valid RN license in the state of employment.
  • Current CPR/BLS certification.
  • Two years of clinical nursing experience; geriatrics/subacute care preferred.
  • One year of management experience preferred; ability to read/write in English.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor daily nursing care delivery and evaluate staff performance.
  • Plan and lead regular shift staff meetings.
  • Identify problems in resident care and implement corrective actions.
  • Provide reports to the Director of Nursing as needed.
  • Coordinate nursing services with other resident services for continuity of care.

Under the direction of the Director of Nursing, this role supervises nursing personnel and oversees daily nursing activities during assigned shifts. All duties must align with professional standards and federal, state, and local regulations to ensure the highest quality of care.

Responsibilities
  • Monitor the daily delivery of nursing care and evaluate staff performance in accordance with established policies and procedures.
  • Plan and conduct regular shift staff meetings to identify and resolve concerns and improve services.
  • Identify problems or potential issues in resident care and implement corrective action promptly.
  • Provide written and verbal reports or recommendations to the Director of Nursing as needed.
  • Assist in developing methods to coordinate nursing services with other resident services to support continuity of care.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (preferred)
  • Current RN license in the state of employment
  • Peripheral IV certification
  • Two years of clinical nursing experience
  • One year of management experience (preferred)
  • One year of experience in geriatrics or subacute care
  • CPR/BLS certification
  • Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English; additional languages helpful
