Job summary

Kennybrook Village in Grimes, IA seeks a dedicated RN to join our boutique senior living community, offering independent living, assisted living, rehab, and long-term care. We provide a family-oriented environment with competitive benefits and a supportive team.

The RN will deliver comprehensive nursing care, communicate with physicians, supervise staff, and ensure resident safety and well-being within a compassionate, purpose-driven culture.

Responsibilities

• Provide quality nursing care in accordance with Federal, State, and Company requirements based on acuity of residents
• Make daily rounds to each resident to ascertain the resident’s condition and comfort
• Follow safety policies in performing nursing care, assuring resident safety
• Follows infection control guidelines
• Initiate procedures to protect residents from injury and infection
• Assess and evaluate resident change of condition and institute appropriate interventions
• Communicate with the Physician as indicated by resident needs or status and assure follow through; maintain hand-off communications with oncoming shift regarding resident care needs.
• Overseas direct care staff and ensures staff complete tasks and cares as assigned.
• Speak, read and write the English language in an understandable manner.
• Ability to apply principles of basic general math.
