Job summary

Shady Lawn seeks a Registered Nurse to provide direct nursing care to residents and supervise nursing assistants. You will ensure high-quality care in accordance with Ohio laws and facility policies, under the supervision of the Director of Nursing Services.

The role requires an accredited Nursing Degree and compliance with the Ohio Nurse Practice Act; the facility offers a comprehensive benefits package for full-time staff and opportunities for professional growth.

Qualifications

• Must possess a Nursing Degree from an accredited college or university.
• RN scope of practice defined by Ohio Nurse Practice Act.

PURPOSE OF YOUR JOB POSITION:

The primary purpose of your job position is to provide direct nursing care to the residents, and to supervise the day-to-day nursing activities performed by nursing assistants. Such supervision must be in accordance with current federal, state, and local standards, guidelines, and regulations that govern our facility, and as may be required by the Director of Nursing Services or to ensure that the highest degree of quality care is maintained at all times.

As RN you are delegated the administrative authority, responsibility, and accountability necessary for carrying out your assigned duties with the RN scope of practice defined by the Ohio Nurse Practice Act/ ORC Chapter 4723.

Education

• Must possess, as a minimum, a Nursing Degree from an accredited college or university.
