Job summary

Sterling Care Bel Air is seeking an experienced (RN) Registered Nurse to supervise staff and safeguard Residents’ health by following nursing policies and state regulations.

This role offers a $5,000 sign-on bonus and a supportive workplace with health, life, disability insurance, 401k and extensive PTO. You will ensure compassionate care and effective team oversight.

Qualifications

• RN license in state
• Graduated from an accredited nursing program
• High school diploma or equivalent

Responsibilities

• Provides quality nursing care upholding residents' rights, dignity and choices.
• Supervises G.N.A.s and subordinate staff ensuring tasks are completed.
• Administers parenteral, intramuscular, and sub-cutaneous injections.
• Administers medications within RN scope and maintains narcotics records.
• Reviews daily documentation for dispensing controlled substances and narcotics.

Qualifications for the (RN) Registered Nurse:

• High school diploma or equivalent.


• Graduated from an accredited nursing program


• Registered with the state as an RN / Registered Nurse

Responsibilities as an (RN) Registered Nurse:

• Provides quality nursing care to Residents/residents in an environment that promotes their rights, dignity, and freedom of choice.


• Provides supervision to G.N.A’s and all subordinate staff which includes checking their work to ascertain that assignments have been completed.


• Administer all parenteral, intramuscular, and sub-cutaneous injections.


• Administer medications within the scope of practice of the RN Licensure. Maintain a current report of narcotics received and used.


• Review daily the documentation of the dispensing of the controlled substances and narcotics.
