Job summary

Mercy is seeking a Regional Float Pool Registered Nurse to provide bedside care across Mercy hospitals in the St. Louis region.

This part-time, night-shift role supports adult and geriatric patients and follows established standards of nursing practice. You will float between designated Mercy facilities, collaborating with diverse care teams, and applying critical assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of individualized nursing care.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited registered nursing program.
• Current RN license in hiring state and/or compact licensure.
• Minimum of two years of bedside RN experience.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement and evaluate individualized nursing care for adult/geriatric patients.
• Float between Mercy facilities within the East Community Mercy Hospital network.
• Collaborate with diverse care teams to ensure quality patient outcomes.

• $10,000 - No ContractBase Pay
• (Determined by Experience)
• PLUS Regional Float Pool Differential $15.00
• AND Shift Differentials: $2.75/Evenings, $4.60/Nights, $1.50/Weekends

Qualifications:

Required Education:

Graduate of an accredited registered professional nursing program.

Preferred Education:

BSN

Licensure:

Is personally responsible for obtaining, and maintaining, a current RN license within the hiring state and/or compact licensure in which nursing duties are performed and must meet all state board of nursing requirements.

REQUIRED Experience:

Aminimum of two years ofrecent bed-sideL&B RN experience.

Preferred Experience:

Epic experience

Certifications (Must have to start):

BLS & NRP

Physical Requirements/Demands:

Stand/Walk most of the time on duty; significant amount of bending and stooping, as well as lifting and turning patients with assistance; push/pull/grip up to 50 pounds
