• Creighton University Medical Center, Bergan Mercy
• Creighton University Medical Center, University Campus (ED positions only)
• Immanuel Hospital
• Lakeside Hospital
• Lasting Hope Recovery Center (Behavioral positions only)
• Mercy Hospital - Council Bluffs, IA
• Midlands Hospital - Papillion

This Regional Float position enables us to respond more rapidly to facilities with the greatest staffing needs by deploying qualified clinicians familiar with our policies, procedures, and core values. We offer up to a $25,000 Sign-on Bonus and up to $10,000 in Educational Assistance (loan repayment) for qualifying new hires.

This position supports our Progressive Care Unit departments.

The Registered Nurse (RN), within their scope of practice, assesses, plans, implements, and evaluates nursing care for a designated group of healthcare consumers across the continuum. Provides services addressing the spiritual, physiological, social, and psychological aspects of care, disease prevention, or health conservation. Floats to different campuses based on need and supports our mission and core values.

• Follow the nursing process: assess, plan, implement, and evaluate. This is an ongoing process that can conclude at any stage.
• Assessment - Collect and analyze healthcare consumer data, including psychological, physiological, sociocultural, spiritual, economic, and lifestyle factors.
• Administer medications accurately and safely.
• Ensure thorough documentation for all patients treated.
• Keep up with Physician orders.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an RN nursing program.
• Active RN licensure in Nebraska, Iowa, or nurse licensure compact.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required upon hire.
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification required within 5 months of hire.
• Additional credentials may be required depending on the level of care required for RN floats.
• Ability to travel to multiple metro facilities on short notice.
• Minimum of 2 years of Progressive Care experience.
