Job summary

Sterling St James Inc. is seeking an RN Regional Clinical Director to oversee multiple skilled nursing centers across Connecticut.

This executive role reports to the Vice President of Clinical Operations and drives standardized care, regulatory compliance, and Five-Star outcomes with on-site leadership across CT facilities. You will mentor Directors of Nursing Services, lead survey readiness, and ensure clinical and regulatory excellence while balancing staffing and financial stewardship.

Qualifications

RN license in Connecticut (active/unrestricted) or eligible for reciprocity
BSN strongly preferred
5+ years nursing leadership in SNF, with 3+ years as DNS
Experience leading multiple sites and survey readiness
Proficient in data-driven quality measures and EMR systems

Responsibilities

Strategic multi-site oversight to standardize clinical systems and improve Five-Star ratings
Regulatory command for CT MA and CT regulations; oversee certification and survey readiness
Quality assurance through EMR data tracking and PIPs to reduce risks
Mentor and lead DNS and nursing leadership; cover during vacancies to ensure regulatory stability
Collaborate on staffing and budget to balance care quality with resources
Provide 24/7 on-call coverage and regional travel across CT facilities
