Summary of Job Duties: Shift: 0700-1730 for 4 days with a floating off day. This position may float to other IMSL clinics as needed.

The Registered Nurse will provide direct patient care, coordinate care, triage patients, and work collaboratively with clinic providers, fellows, and staff. Responsibilities include working with patient referral sources, facilitating appointments, coordinating transitions of care, and providing patient education on complex conditions. The RN will develop and implement individual health plans with patients, families, and providers.

Qualifications:

Minimum Qualifications:

• Graduate of an accredited Nursing Program with an Associate's Degree, Nursing Diploma, Bachelor's, or Master's in Nursing
• Valid RN License
• Minimum of 1 year Registered Nursing experience

Preferred Qualifications:

• BLS Certification
• Pediatric experience and/or two years in an ambulatory care setting

Additional Responsibilities:

• Assess and document patient data per standards
• Develop and evaluate patient care plans
• Administer medications following standards and laws
• Ensure care compliance with standards and regulations
• Support evidence-based nursing practices
• Promote a positive learning environment
• Provide patient and family education/discharge planning
• Collaborate and communicate effectively with staff and stakeholders
• Document care appropriately in medical records
• Report variances and participate in staff recruitment/retention
• Develop and implement evidence-based nursing standards
• Perform other duties as assigned
