Job summary

Enloe Medical Center in Chico, CA is seeking a Registered Nurse for a temporary Radiology assignment. The role requires acute RN experience with preferred radiology exposure and critical care or ED background.

The RN will deliver patient care per medical plans, collaborate with the radiology team, and support sedation and recovery procedures as part of a dedicated care team. Strong communication and compassion are essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum: One year of acute RN experience.
• One year critical care or Emergency Department experience.
• Desired: Radiology experience.
• Previous experience with procedural sedation and patient recovery.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care in accordance with the medical plan of care and nursing standards.
• Coordinate patient care with the radiology team and other staff.
• Communicate effectively with patients and families during crisis or high-stress situations.

POSITION SUMMARY

The Registered Nurse is a licensed professional who provides patient care in accordance with the standards, policies, and practices of Enloe Medical Center. The Registered Nurse prioritizes patient needs, coordinates patient care, and collaborates with other members of the patient care team to provide care in accordance with the medical plan of care. All nursing practice, policies & procedures, & quality practice are overseen by the Vice President of Nursing Services.

EDUCATION / TRAINING / EXPERIENCE

• Minimum: One year of acute RN experience
• One year critical care or Emergency Department experience
• Desired: Radiology experience
• Previous experience with procedural sedation and patient recovery

LICENSES / CERTIFICATIONS

• Minimum: Current licensure with the California Board of Registered Nursing
• Current CPR Certification
• Current ACLS Certification
• Current PALS Certification (within 6 months of hire)
• Current RCM Certification (Radiopaque Contrast Media), obtained within 30 days of employment (dept tracks)

SKILLS / KNOWLEDGE / ABILITIES

• Must demonstrate technical competence, professional clinical judgment, communication skills and sensitivity for the patient and family in crisis. Must be able to fulfill the essential functions of the position.
