Job summary

The Registered Nurse prioritizes patient needs, coordinates patient care, and collaborates with other members of the patient care team to provide care in accordance with the medical plan of care.EDUCATION / TRAINING / EXPERIENCE:Minimum:Six months of recent RN experience in an acute care settingBasic Arrhythmia or equivalent (within one year of hire)LICENSES / CERTIFICATIONS:Minimum:Current licensure with the California Board of Registered NursingCurrent CPR recognitionCurrent ACLS recognition (within 90 days of hire or transfer)Desired:One year of recent acute care medical/surgical RN experienceSix months of telemetry RN experienceSix months of emergency department RN experienceSKILLS / KNOWLEDGE / ABILITIES:Must demonstrate technical competence, professional clinical judgment, communication skills and sensitivity for the patient and family in crisis.
