Job summary

Highmark Health is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Imaging Department in Erie, PA. This full-time, day-shift position involves a wide range of diagnostic and interventional procedures to ensure a safe and comfortable patient experience.

You will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care, collaborating with an interdisciplinary team while promoting patient safety and quality initiatives. A PA RN license (or eNLC) and CPR are required, with preferred critical care experience.

Qualifications

• Current State of PA RN licensure or current multi-state licensure through the enhanced Nurse Licensure Compact (eNLC) is required.
• Critical care experience is preferred.
• CPR Certification is required.
• Act 34 Criminal Background Clearance Certificate must be obtained.
• Act 33 Child Abuse Clearance Certificate must be obtained.
• Act 73 FBI Fingerprinting Criminal Background Clearance Certificate must be obtained.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient conditions and plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care.
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to evaluate clinical care or health services.
• Promote patient safety initiatives and participate in department quality initiatives.
• Utilize the nursing process to assess, plan, and implement patient care plans.

• Provide verbal and written feedback regarding clinical practice and role performance.
• Participate in systematic peer review and obtain feedback regarding practice.
