Highmark Health is seeking a dedicated Radiology Registered Nurse to join the imaging team at Jefferson Hospital in Jefferson Hills, PA. This full-time, day-shift position offers an opportunity to provide procedural care and patient monitoring across MRI, Ultrasound, and CT while supporting interdisciplinary teams.

Ideal candidates have critical care experience, PA licensure or multi-state licensure via eNLC, and CPR certification. ACLS and background clearances are preferred/required.

• Experience in acute care settings is a plus.
• CPR certification required.

• Act 34/33/73 background clearances required.

What You'll Do

• Monitor patients and administer/manage sedation during Interventional Radiology (IR) procedures.
• Provide nursing support and patient monitoring across various imaging modalities, including MRI, Ultrasound, and CT.
• Assist with monitored patient transport as needed.
• Participate on interdisciplinary teams to evaluate clinical care or health services.
• Promote patient safety initiatives (e.g., National Patient Safety Goals).
• Utilize the nursing process to assess, plan, evaluate, and implement a patient plan of care.
• Analyze health status of individuals and families to determine patient care needs.
• Assess patient reports/records for changes in condition and notify physician/supervisor.
• Demonstrate a commitment to continuous lifelong learning for self and others.
• Participate in department-specific patient satisfaction initiatives.

Requirements

Education:

• Current State of PA RN licensure or current multi-state licensure through the enhanced Nurse Licensure Compact (eNLC).

Experience:

• Critical care experience strongly preferred; consideration for experienced candidates from other acute care backgrounds.

Licenses & Certifications:

• CPR certification required.
• ACLS preferred.
• Act 34 Criminal Background Clearance Certificate.
• Act 33 Child Abuse Clearance Certificate.
• Act 73 FBI Fingerprinting Criminal Background Clearance Certificate.
