Hunterdon Health RN Radiology position in Flemington, NJ. Per diem day shift (Mon-Fri, 8:00 am–4:30 pm) supports imaging services with evidence-based nursing care and patient-focused outcomes.

The role reports to the Nursing Coordinator Medical Imaging and requires NJ RN licensure, BLS, ACLS, and a BSN or enrollment in a BSN program with a 5-year completion window. Perioperative and radiology experience are beneficial.

Position Summary

Qualifications

Minimum Education:

Required:

All hires after July 2012 are required to have a Bachelor's Degree in nursing OR if Associates Degree or Diploma, RN must provide proof of enrollment in a BSN program prior to hire, be continuously enrolled and complete within 5 years of hire date or internal RN promotion date.

Minimum of three years experience in nursing

Acute care experience

Required:

License, Registry or Certification:

Current NJ RN licensure, BLS, and ACLS certification.

Certification in Radiology Nursing

Knowledge, Skills and/or Abilities:

Must pass annual clinical competency based program and mandated in-service education. Unit specific skills may include but not limited to IV therapy, basic arrhythmia interpretation, vent training, critical care, conscious sedation, Bi-Pap/CPAP and EndTidal CO2. Skills will be determined by a challenge exam and/or skill performance or by completion of a Staff Development course.
