Job summary

Lakeview Hospital in Bountiful, Utah, seeks an RN Quality Coordinator Part Time to influence patient care through collaborative relationships and hospital councils. You will participate in data collection, analysis, and presentation of quality data to improve patient outcomes.

You will support QA/PI projects, core measure reviews, and reporting, while coordinating HIM audits and ensuring documentation accuracy. This role combines clinical RN expertise with quality improvement responsibilities.

Qualifications

• RN license in good standing in Utah.
• Associate Degree of Nursing required; BSN preferred (ADN to BSN program offered).
• American Red Cross or American Heart Association BLS/BCLS certification.
• Microsoft Excel proficiency required.
• 1+ years in quality improvement, chart review/auditing, patient safety or PI.
• 3+ years of acute hospital RN experience.
• Basic clerical, statistical, and quality review skills.

Responsibilities

• Be responsible for all data collection related to Performance Improvement for the hospital and assist with QA/PI projects.
• Assist with data collection, data entry, analysis, and reporting in various systems.
• Assist with Core Measure review and analysis to establish trends.
• Design, maintain and administer databases for tracking, trending and reporting.
• Create and provide customized reports for hospital and medical staff meetings.
• Prepare cases by reviewing medical records, incident reports, and indicators.
• Coordinate HIM medical record audits to ensure documentation quality and accuracy.
• Identify and communicate discrepancies in medical record information and verify corrections.
