Job summary

Penobscot Valley Hospital is seeking a full-time, salaried RN to support hospital-wide quality improvement initiatives. The role involves collaboration with the QI department, data collection, and reporting in line with Joint Commission, CMS, and other regulatory standards.

The position requires Maine RN licensure with at least 3 years of hospital or clinic experience. Strong computer skills and QI experience are preferred; employment includes benefits and retirement plan eligibility.

Qualifications

• Maine RN license with 3 years’ experience in hospital or clinic setting.
• Quality improvement experience preferred.
• Computer skills preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist in implementing hospital-wide and Rural Health Clinic Quality Improvement Plan to regulatory standards.
• Monitor and evaluate changes to quality measures and CMS data requirements.
• Coordinate data collection, analysis, submission, and reporting of CMS inpatient/outpatient measures.
• Support clinical/operational quality improvement teams and provide training in QI methodologies.
• Prepare interpretive reports to identify variations and opportunities for improvement.
• Assist in development and management of projects using evidence-based practices.
