Job summary

Sentara Leigh Hospital in Norfolk, VA is seeking an RN to serve as Quality Improvement Coordinator. The role provides project management, facilitation, clinical oversight and support for quality improvement initiatives, patient safety and performance improvement across medical staff.

You will organize task forces, review evidence, set indicators and monitor care quality. The ideal candidate holds RN license (BSN preferred) and has 3+ years in QA/QI with leadership, teaching and PI facilitation

Qualifications

• RN license required, BSN preferred.
• 3+ years in quality improvement (QI) activities.
• Experience leading, teaching and facilitating PI in an acute care setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide project management and facilitation for quality initiatives.
• Oversee clinical safety, performance improvement, and chart reviews.
