Job summary

The Lung Transplant Program RN Quality Coordinator at HCA Healthcare leads the quality infrastructure, regulatory readiness, and performance monitoring across the transplant continuum. Collaborating with physicians, transplant coordinators, and leadership, you ensure CMS/OPTN/UNOS/SRTR compliance and drive ongoing quality improvement, survey readiness, and program excellence.

This role requires nursing education, clinical experience, and a passion for patient safety and accreditation,

Qualifications

  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing or related healthcare degree.
  • Minimum of three years of clinical experience in a hospital setting preferred.
  • Preferred: CPHQ certification

Responsibilities

Job Summary And Qualifications

The RN Quality Coordinator is responsible for the oversight, coordination, and continuous advancement of the Lung Transplant Program's quality infrastructure. This role serves as the operational lead for quality, regulatory readiness, and performance monitoring, ensuring the program maintains compliance with CMS, OPTN/UNOS, SRTR, and organizational standards while driving ongoing quality improvement across the transplant continuum.

Working in collaboration with physicians, transplant coordinators, advanced practice providers, and operational leadership, the RN Quality Coordinator monitors program performance, identifies opportunities for improvement, supports regulatory compliance, and helps ensure the program remains survey-ready at all times.

Qualifications
  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing or related healthcare degree required.
  • Minimum of three years of clinical experience in a hospital setting preferred.
  • Employee completes initial and ongoing training and competencies as defined by service line, facility and department/unit, which are specific to the needs of the patient population served (if applicable).
  • Preferred Education: Bachelor’s degree in nursing or related healthcare field.
  • Preferred Experience: Quality Management, regulatory compliance, or TQM/CQI.
Minimum License, Certificates, or Registrations

Preferred: CPHQ certification
