Job summary

Mission Hospital in Asheville, North Carolina is seeking an RN - Quality Coordinator to lead development of quality initiatives and manage programmatic responsibilities. The role requires BSN, NC RN licensure, and at least 5 years of clinical experience, with CQ/CPHQ preferred.

You will collaborate across medical staff to analyze data, drive improvements, and mentor staff within Mission Health’s culture. The Quality Coordinator will participate in committees, lead teams, and communicate

Qualifications

• Graduate of accredited school of nursing, BSN required.
• If RN, BSN within 6 months and obtain BSN within 4 years of hire date into RN position.
• Current licensure as registered nurse with the North Carolina Board of Nursing.
• National Nursing Certification in area of specialty.
• CPHQ preferred to be obtained within two years of hire date.
• 5 years of clinical nurse experience

Responsibilities

• Use evidence-based practice while collaborating with medical staff and analyzing data to improve quality.
• Participate and lead committees and teams with timely action plans to improve quality outcomes.
• Recruit, welcome and encourage new employees to succeed and promote Mission Health culture.
• Represent the organization professionally with a caring attitude and standards of Mission Health professionals.
