Job summary

Lawrence Presbyterian Manor, part of PMMA (Presbyterian Manors of Mid-America®), is seeking a Quality Assurance Coordinator to lead our quality assessment and assurance program. The role emphasizes resident-centered care and compliance with federal, state, and local standards, providing support to a compassionate care team.

The ideal candidate will hold an RN license with a nursing degree, prior supervision experience in long-term care or hospital settings, and knowledge of relevant regulations.

Qualifications

• Must possess a nursing degree from an accredited college or university or be a graduate of an approved RN program.
• Must possess a current active license to practice as an RN in this state.
• Previous experience as a supervisor in a hospital, long term care community or other related health care facility and geriatric nursing experience is preferred.
• Knowledge of nursing and medical practices and procedures as well as laws, regulations and guidelines governing long term care.
• IV Certification is a plus.

• Ensure that the quality assessment and assurance program is in compliance with current federal, state and local standards, guidelines and regulations.
• Advances the value that the resident comes first and supports person-centered care.
• Provide leadership and collaboration to improve overall care quality and safety across the community.
