Job description

Job Overview

RN – Quality Assurance located at Providence Portland Medical Center (primary location) with occasional travel to Providence Hood River Hospital. Primarily onsite with occasional hybrid (remote) work. Full‑time, Monday‑Friday day shift schedule. Wage range: $50.14–$77.83 per hour with potential additional compensation for shift differentials, standby/on‑call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.

Responsibilities

Provide assessment, evaluation, and support for all quality initiatives within PHS Oregon. Manage concurrent and retrospective initiatives to comply with CMS, TJC, administrative and program personnel, and third‑party payor requirements. Work with physician leadership, directors, and managers to develop and implement quality efforts, including risk monitoring and reduction in clinical and non‑clinical systems, and coordinate multidisciplinary quality improvement projects.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in Nursing.
  • Oregon Registered Nurse license upon hire.
  • 5 years clinical experience.
  • 5 years hospital experience in progressively responsible positions with cross‑department contact.
  • Demonstrated clinical experience across diverse patient populations and care delivery models.
  • Demonstrated leadership experience.
  • Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, with physicians, nursing, public, and all levels of hospital management.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Master's Degree in Nursing, Public Health, Business, Healthcare, or Administrative.
  • Accreditation and/or regulatory experience.
