Job Summary
The RN Clinical Nurse is a proactive member of an interdisciplinary team of licensed and unlicensed care givers who ensure that patients, families, and significant others receive individualized, high-quality, safe patient care. They practice in a clinical environment managed by Nurse Managers and supported through the Wellstar Shared Governance Model. Core Responsibilities and Essential Functions

• Performs the Nursing Process (assessment, diagnosis, outcome identification, planning, implementation, evaluation) using evidence-based practice, analytical thinking, and individualized care, coordinating effectively with the care team.
• Provides relationship-based, patient-centered care tailored to population-specific characteristics, respecting cultural diversity.
• Partners with patients and their significant others through methods like bedside reports, interdisciplinary rounds, and patient education, focusing care plans on patient goals.
