Job summary

Ohio Department of Developmental Disabilities is seeking a part-time RN specialized in psychiatric/developmental disabilities to support residents at the Tiffin Developmental Center. The role focuses on medication administration, documentation, and coordinated care with physicians and care teams.

Requires current Ohio RN license, experience in behavioral health, and willingness to work every other weekend with mandatory hours. Competitive benefits are provided by the state.

Qualifications

• Current Ohio RN license required.
• Knowledge of medical charting and care planning.
• Experience with behavioral health and developmental disabilities is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications and treatments.
• Assess residents and respond to direct care concerns.
• Complete nursing notes, 24-hour reports and MARs.
• Communicate medical concerns with physicians and team.
• Attend medication reviews, admissions/discharges and team meetings.
• Assist with physical examinations.
• Prepare and file medical documents.
• Work schedule includes every other weekend; mandatory hours required.
