Cynet Health seeks a Registered Nurse for a Psychiatric unit in Lewiston, Maine. This 13-week assignment supports care for children and adolescents (ages 6-18) on an inpatient behavioral unit, with major depression and ADD/ADHD as primary diagnoses.

Responsibilities include medication administration, patient education, daily documentation, and leading education groups. Must have an RN license, BLS, and at least 3 years of nursing experience.

Qualifications

  • Associates Degree in Nursing required.
  • Ability to float to Chemical Dependency/Detox.
  • CPI Trained.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Ability to communicate on various levels: patients, families, providers, coworkers.
  • Ability to manage stressful situations appropriately.
  • Ability to set strong professional boundaries.
  • Dedicated team player.
  • Self-directed and able to stay productive during downtime.
