Job summary

Cynet Health is seeking a Registered Nurse for Behavioral Health on a 13-week assignment. This night-shift role (12-hour shifts) supports adults with mental health challenges on a 72-bed unit with a 1:4-6 patient ratio.

The ideal candidate will have 2+ years of RN experience, current RN license, BLS, Handle With Care, and strong crisis-intervention skills. Responsibilities include assessments, medication administration, and ensuring safe, compassionate patient care.

Qualifications

• Respond to CODE Blues and manage violent situations.
• Competence in admissions, discharges, and shift assessments.
• Emergency and regular medication administration.
• De-escalation techniques.
• Familiarity with Pyxis and electronic health records.

Responsibilities

• Conduct assessments and monitor patient status on a Behavioral Health unit.
• Administer medications accurately and document in electronic health records.
• Respond to emergencies and manage crises using de-escalation techniques.
• Assist with admissions, discharges, and daily shift assessments.
• Collaborate with the care team to ensure safe patient care and compliance.
