Job summary

Aurora Pavilion Behavioral Health Services, part of Aiken Regional Medical Centers, is seeking a Registered Nurse for Psychiatric care on the full-time night shift. The role provides leadership and safe, compassionate nursing care aligned with patient-centered care and organizational standards.

The RN will perform psychoeducation, develop nursing-related programs, and coordinate care with a multidisciplinary team. Sign-on bonus offered; SC licensure required.

Qualifications

• Minimum three years experience in mental health setting recommended.
• Assessment and referral experience preferred.
• Accepting 2026 new RN graduates.

Responsibilities

• Performs nursing assessments.
• Performs group psychoeducation.
• Performs family psychoeducation.
• Performs individual psychoeducation.
• Develops nursing related programs as appropriate.
• Performs initial precertification and concurrent reviews on PHP patients.
• Tracks daily attendance, admissions and discharges of PHP patients.
• Participates in the development of treatment plans.
• Reviews and updates treatment plans as needed.
• Interacts with community agencies to establish mental health network.
• Charts every session.
• Participates in program development meetings.
• Communicates and coordinates services with supervisor.
• Assists the Assessment and UR department as needed and able.
• Compiles and maintains accurate patient charts
• Reviews charts for physician orders and assures orders are completed as necessary

The Registered Nurse provides safe, competent nursing care for patients in accordance with facility policies, standards, and philosophy. Provides professional leadership and support to the healthcare team. The concepts of Patient Centered Care will provide the foundation for all nursing care. Demonstrates Service Excellence standards at all times.

Duties:
