Job Description

This role acts as a leader in providing patient care using the nursing process within the framework of the Nurse Practice Act, ANA Code for Nurses, and Scope & Standards of Practice. The incumbent effectively delegates, directs, and assists licensed and ancillary team members; assumes accountability for quality patient outcomes; exhibits sensitivity to cultural, ethnic, and religious diversity; and supports the department’s strategic goals. Demonstrates professional responsibility and accountability for their own practice.

Minimum Requirements
  • Education: Graduate of an accredited school of nursing (Required); Bachelor’s degree in nursing (Preferred)
  • Work Experience: None required
  • Certifications: Current RN license in the state of practice; BLS certification from the American Heart Association (Required); Certification in a clinical specialty area (Preferred)
  • Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Proficiency with computers; effective communication skills; strong interpersonal skills; good organizational and time management skills; good judgment
