This role involves leading patient care using the nursing process within the framework of the Nurse Practice Act, ANA Code for Nurses, and Scope & Standards of Practice. The nurse will delegate, direct, and assist licensed and ancillary team members, ensuring quality patient outcomes. The role requires sensitivity to cultural, ethnic, and religious diversity, active participation in achieving departmental goals, and demonstrating professional responsibility and accountability.

Qualifications

Education

  • Required: Graduate of an accredited nursing school.
  • Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in nursing.

Work Experience

  • Required: None.

Certifications

  • Required: Current RN license in the state of practice.
  • Required: BLS certification from the American Heart Association.
  • Preferred: Certification in a clinical specialty area.
