Job summary

Kettering Health is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Main Campus in Kettering, OH. This full-time position offers 12-hour day shifts and requires active Ohio RN licensure, with BSN preferred and BLS/advanced certifications as required by unit scope.

The RN will provide patient‑centered care, collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, and participate in performance improvement efforts in a values‑driven not-for-profit health system dedicated to safety and compassionate care.

Qualifications

• Licensed in Ohio as a Registered Nurse.
• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing (NLN, ACEN, or CCNE).
• BSN preferred (to be completed within 5 years of hire).
• A returning-to-acute-care nurse after 5+ years may need a refresher course.
• BLS certification.
• ACLS/NRP/PALS as determined by unit scope of practice.

Qualifications

Applicants Must Have:

• Licensed in the state of Ohio as a Registered Nurse
• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing (NLN, ACEN, or CCNE) if they are a new graduate nurse.
• Bachelor of Science in nursing preferred (must be completed within 5 years of hire).
• A nurse who is returning to the acute care setting after five or more years may be required to provide evidence of successful completion of a refresher course.
• BLS certification
• ACLS, NRP, PALS as determined by unit scope of practice
